I am a board-certified internal medicine physician caring for adults 18 years and older, with experience across high-acuity inpatient medicine and outpatient longitudinal care. I have managed complex medical conditions within a large academic health system at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City and have provided preventive, primary, and urgent care in ambulatory clinics.
My work is informed by a strong foundation in clinical research, with a focus on improving outcomes, optimizing care delivery, and addressing inequities in access and quality. I provide comprehensive, evidence-based care with an emphasis on prevention, continuity, and compassionate, patient-centered decision-making.
I received my medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed postgraduate training at Howard University Hospital. I subsequently pursued advanced training in CardioMetabolic Diseases at NYU Langone.
Jesslynn Mannino FNP-BC
Jesslynn Mannino, MSN, FNP-BC, RN is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care, urgent care, infusion therapy, and perioperative nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Utica College and has cared for patients across a wide range of clinical settings, including internal medicine, cardiology, weight management, infusion services, and hospital-based telemetry and operating room care. Jesslynn is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on prevention, wellness, and individualized treatment plans. She is also certified in advanced aesthetic injectables and remains committed to continuing education and evidence-based practice.
Maria Johneas, MSN, RN
Maria Johneas, MSN, RN is a seasoned nursing leader with over 25 years of experience in critical care and hospital operations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wagner College and her Master of Science in Nursing in Leadership from Chamberlain University.
Maria combines extensive clinical expertise with a decade of executive nursing leadership, overseeing hospital operations, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving quality improvement, patient safety, and operational excellence. She is recognized for her strong clinical judgment, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.
Passionate about mentoring nurses and developing future healthcare leaders, Maria is dedicated to advancing evidence-based practice and improving healthcare outcomes for the patients and communities she serves.

Why I created MedRedefined?
Throughout my career — from large academic medical centers to outpatient clinics — I had the privilege of caring for patients across a wide spectrum of health conditions. I trained in environments where excellence, precision, and evidence-based care were paramount. Yet over time, I observed a growing disconnect in modern medicine: physicians were given less time with patients, appointments became rushed, and meaningful relationships were increasingly difficult to sustain.
I founded MedRedefined to return to a more thoughtful model of care.
